Fall 2022

BIOL 420 Ichthyology

Grade: A
BIOL 420, Ichthyology, aims to build a foundations in classification and anatomy of all known extant and extinct fish species. Coursework included complete external and internal anatomy review of fishes and complete taxonomical classification down to the Suborder.

Summer 2022

BIOL 402 Scientific Diving & Research

Grade: A
This class allowed me to gain my AAUS (American Academy of Underwater Sciences) scientific diver certification. Also included functional breakdown of several PADI and DAN processes involved around safety and proper dive conducting. Proficient use of open-circuit scuba achieved as a result of this class. Several certifications were received upon completion of class.

Fall 2022

BIOL 307 Invertebrate Zoology

Grade: A
BIOL 307, Invertebrate Zoology, builds a foundation in invertebrate zoology including a systematic breakdown of all major invertebrate phyla. Coursework included several field excursions and dissections to help us students build skills in lab work.

Fall 2022

BIOL 466W Conservation Leadership

Grade: B
BIOL 466 Conservation Leadership aims to build a background in conservation and sustainability leadership including creating a case study, attached below (rough draft), and working in the realm of participatory modeling.
